The jerk chicken with rice and plantains and Mac and cheese was so delicious! Jerk chicken was tender and juicy and fell right off the bone. Rice was tasty even for it being white rice and Mac and cheese was phenomenal! Definitely coming back here again.

This was sooooo good!!! I got the jerk chicken, rice & peas with cabbage and plantains My husband got brown stew chicken rice & peas with cabbage and plantains 10/10 everything was amazing their pound cake is amazing! Omg GET THEIR JAMAICAN LEMONADE we bought 2 and wish we would’ve gotten 3 also their Jamaican patties wow! Just wow!!! I can’t can’t wait to come back.

An Absolute Hidden Gem in Sanford! I can’t believe I’ve lived in Sanford for almost 2 years and only just discovered Montego Bay Caribbean Takeout. Hands down, one of the BEST meals I’ve had in Central Florida. I ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail, and both were absolutely incredible—tender, flavorful, and packed with authentic island spices that had me scraping every last bite. What made the experience even better were the owners—Uncle and Auntie were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely warm. You can feel the love they put into both their food and hospitality. It felt like I was visiting family, not just picking up takeout. If you’re in Sanford or even nearby, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Support local, support authentic—this is the real deal. I’m already planning my next visit. Montego Bay has earned a lifelong customer.

I was craving jerk chicken. Found this place. OMG!!!! It's amazing. The large portion of jerk chicken, peas and rice, cabbage and cornbread was humongous. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The peas and rice to die for. And then decided to try their Oxtail...off the hook greatness.i can't stop eating both dishes. Their portions are generous. The cabbage was ok, perhaps that's how it's meant to be to offset the jerk. Found it a slight greasy, but still very yummy. The cornbread was moist and tender and flavorful. It was fantastic for those that like sweet cornbread, (me, not so much) but I'll still give them a 10 on that. The beef patties were delicious. Flacky dough, great flavorful filling, not greasy at all. The service was impeccable! Sweet lady, very friendly. It was take out so she actually opened the Styrofoam boxes to show me before she bagged them. Very impressive and love that detail. Nothing like it unless you are in Jamaica. (Yes, I've been) Great food.I'll be back. I highly recommend it. Thank you for an amazing dinner.

I never leave reviews but I can't say enough good things about this family run business. Since moving to Sanford I've tried literally every Caribbean takeout restaurant or meal there is in the area and Montego Bay is By Far THE BEST around. I'd say the Best in all of Orlando, honestly. And I've tried A Lot of spots. Not only are they the most affordable I've found in Central Florida, their food tastes the best too! No Cap. And it's Consistent. I get the jerk chicken everytime and I've Never had a bad plate or poor experience here. The family is friendly and the environment is always clean. The Food is made to order so you may wait a few minutes for your order but it's worth it. Their Food Hits Every Time. They have a small dining area to eat and you can call ahead to place your order too. Plenty of parking in plaza as well. Try this spot and thank me later You will not be disappointed!! (LOL this is not an ad - this place just That GOOD)

I’m originally from up north where there are authentic Jamaican restaurants and since I’ve been living in Florida it has been almost impossible to find one that’s close to the ones back home. This place is hands down the best!! From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I was back home and the meal I ordered hit it right on the money!! The picture I added does it no justice because I had already started chowing down but I had to include it to give y’all an idea this is a medium plate the portions were on point!!! I also ordered a beef patty and some rum cake as well both also soooo good!! 10/10 Would highly recommend!!

I got the Curry Chicken..... DELICIOUS!!! Customer service is always amazing. My fiance and I normally get the oxtail but there isn’t a single thing we haven’t loved!! Make sure to grab a Jamaican soda too!!
